How does it work?

1. Connect your Xero account

Head to the Trace portal and authorise access to Xero. You can do this yourself or request access from your Xero admin via the portal. Note: the Xero API does NOT access the Payroll module which means we cannot see your employee data. Further, we do not pull revenues or salary/wages data into the Trace app. See here for more details.

2. Map your data & confirm details

Categorise your expenses against Trace’s categories, then add and confirm additional details such as the number of locations you have, your fuel consumption, etc.

3. Calculate your carbon footprint and take action

Receive your carbon footprint calculation, offset your emissions, create your reduction roadmap, and tell your story, all on Trace.
